Wanderlight Studio LLC is a photography and education business operated by Christina Carey in Brentwood, California. This policy covers this website and inquiries you send through its contact options. For privacy questions, email info@wanderlight.studio.
Information you choose to share
When you contact us, we receive the information you submit, such as your name, contact details, interests, preferred dates, and message. Please share only what is needed for your inquiry and avoid sending sensitive financial, medical, or identification information. Our embedded contact form at book.wanderlight.studio uses HighLevel. Information you submit through the form is processed through HighLevel so we can respond and manage your inquiry. You can also email us directly.
How we use information
We use inquiry information to respond, discuss photography sessions, classes or studio rental, and manage related communications and arrangements. If you become a client or student, separate agreements or notices may explain additional information needed to provide those services. Sending an inquiry is not consent to receive promotional text messages.
Website operation and service providers
Our hosting and delivery providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device details, requested pages, and access times to deliver and secure the website. HighLevel provides our contact form and customer relationship management tools, and email providers process our correspondence. We may share information with service providers as needed to operate the website, handle inquiries, and provide requested services, or when reasonably necessary to comply with law or protect legal rights. These providers may process information outside your state or country.
Fonts, links, and other websites
This website loads Google Fonts from Google’s servers. Your browser connects to Google to request these font files, which can disclose technical request information such as your IP address and browser details. See Google’s Privacy Policy. Links to Instagram, salons, and other external websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. Your email application and email provider also operate under their own policies.
Browser storage and online tracking
The site stores your light or dark theme choice in your browser’s local storage under “wanderlight-theme.” You can remove it by clearing this site’s browser data. Our own site code has no installed analytics tools or advertising pixels, and no live chat widget is currently installed. The embedded HighLevel contact form may process technical data and use cookies or similar technologies according to the provider’s practices and the form’s settings. Any consent choices presented within the form apply to that service. Our own site code does not track visitors across other websites and does not change its behavior in response to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. Third-party services may handle these signals differently. Browser settings can restrict cookies, though doing so may affect form functionality. If live chat or other data-collection tools are added, we will update this policy to describe the relevant practices.
Portfolio photographs
Session pages display photographs and may include first names and details about a session. These are public pages. If you appear in a photograph and have a question about its use, contact us at info@wanderlight.studio. Image use and permissions may also be addressed in a separate client agreement or release.
Retention and security
We retain correspondence and related records as reasonably needed to respond to inquiries, provide services, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations or resolve disputes. Retention depends on the type of information and the reason it is held. No website, email service, or storage system can guarantee complete security. Please contact us if you believe information has been sent to us in error.
Your choices and requests
You can choose not to submit the contact form, limit the information you share, or email us directly instead. To ask about information you have provided, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, email info@wanderlight.studio. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Some records may need to be retained for legal or business obligations. Any privacy rights that apply under law remain available to you.
Children and youth programs
Although our portfolio includes young people and we offer youth photography classes, this website is intended for general audiences and inquiries from adults, parents, and guardians. Children under 13 should not submit personal information through the site. A parent or guardian can contact us about a child’s participation or information, or to request removal of information submitted by a child.
Changes to this policy
We will post updates on this page and change the “Last updated” date. For material changes affecting information you have already provided, we will provide additional notice when required by applicable law. Please review this page when using new website features.
